Colin Read began his studies in property valuation at Southampton Solent University and, in 1980, he went on to specialise in Fine Arts and Chattels.
Between 1987 and 2002 Colin was senior lecturer at Solent University on the BA (Hons) Fine Arts Valuation degree specialising in Valuation and Auction Law Practice.
Colin's practice is currently based in Southampton where he undertakes valuation work, principally for legal and insurance purposes for private and corporate clients who include major International auction rooms, high profile clients and the United Nations. He is a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.
Robin Austin qualified as a member of the Incorporated Society of Valuers and Auctioneers in August 1985 and subsequently became a Chartered Surveyor in January 2000.
Having qualified at Solent University in Southampton where he studied with Colin, he went on to work in private practice in the city before setting up his own practice dealing with the valuation and survey of both residential and commercial property in 1999.
Robin's geographical area of expertise extends across the Wessex region, from Dorset through Hampshire to Sussex and includes the Isle of Wight.
